In the appreciation of fine art photography, the viewer can sometimes lose focus on just how active the subject is throughout the process of creating art. Models must be able to strike dynamic poses that push the limits of the human body, sometimes holding them for long periods. Photo shoots can be physically demanding, and often quite intimate. Artworks that explore people as subjects, both nude and non-nude, explore the common thread that weaves throughout the whole of humanity. The nude form can also act as muse, a source of inspiration for the artist and the audience alike.
